Moon from the northern & southern Hemi’planes
Sa 19 December2015
These are two pictures of the moon, Venus and Jupiter side by side
of the moon in the two different Hemi’planes (southern and northern).
The picture on the right was taken in Oklahoma and the picture on the
left was taken from Australia two hours north of Sydney. We put them
side by side to further gain understanding of how we see the same
constellations and moon positioning from both Hemi’planes, but at
different perspectives.
We then plotted the locations on the flat earth style map to better
grasp perspective of how each person is seeing the same three celestial
bodies but from different views.
